Thin-walled Bearings & Bushes are made from Bi-metal strips. Outside is steel lined on the inside with Copper Lead, Aluminium Tin or White Metal Tin Alloys. Copper Lead / White Metal bearing strips are made by a powder sintering process.

Thick-walled Bearings / Flange Type Bearings / Thick pressure washers & rings are made from steel or Gun Metal back. They are all centrifugally cast.

BEARINGS are the most integral parts of engines. Failure of Bearing - it's the only fatal cause of Crankshaft damage and collapse of the engine. Hence, it is essential, that these bearings are of precisional accuracy and made from the most versatile combination of metals, to ensure longer life, smooth functioning and withstanding high thrust loads.

a) Lead Bronze MTL 797 (SAE - 797) for high load capacity

b) Leaded Bronze MTL 799 (SAE - 799) for very high load and higher running speed.

c) Lead Bronze MTL 49 (SAE - 49 ) for high fatigue

d) Lead Bronze ( Nickel) MTL 31 for higher strength and hardness.
